Bulgaria, Kingdom. An Order Of Saint Alexander, Ii Class Star, Russian Made, C.1880 Newly Listed in an inter-woven thatched pattern( " ). Instituted 25 December 1881. 1879 1886 Issue. In silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of an eight pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central red enameled applique bearing the name of the order in gold Cyrillic lettering, surrounded by a ring of white enamel with the order motto of (GOD WITH US) in gilt Cyrillic lettering, with gilded laurel leaf branches at the bottom, the reverse with a barrel hinge and narrow banjo style
